Our Breeds

NPIP certified and AI-free, we prioritize quality over quantity. Health, vitality, and gentle temperaments are at the heart of what we do. Explore our carefully curated selection of chicken breeds, including Lemon Cuckoo Neiderheiners, Bielefelders, Whiting True Blues, and Wheaten Ameraucanas.

LCN Lemon Cuckoo Niederrheiner

This breed offers distincitve lemon to orange barring. We breed for quality, health, and friendly temperments. Hens lay about 200 light brown eggs per year. In adddition to Pure LCN's, we also are working on a project cross of the LNC roo over Buff Oprington hens.

Bielefelder

These chickens are larger and serve as a dual purpose breed. Roo's can get up to 9-10lb with appropriate feed and care. They are cold hardy, tend to keep laying during cool weather longer than other breeds, and are friendly. Hens lay up to 280 eggs per year.

Ameraucana

We breed true Ameraucanas. These are not easter eggers or mixed "Americanas" that you may find at your local hardware store during chick days, but are high quality birds. We select for full muffs, beards, and excellent temperment. Our current line is Wheaten Ameraucana and plan to expand into BBS soon.

WTB Whiting True Blue

We are especially excited about this modern breed developed by Dr. Tom Whiting. They have a variety of plumage colors, and lay large powder blue eggs. While individual birds may have different color patterns, they do breed true for the blue egg gene. These birds can lay between 275-300 eggs per year under good conditions.
